One thing we work hard on at Pixels is creating websites that are easy to use. Having over 10 years of combined experience and having built hundreds of websites, we are experts in constructing high quality websites that provide the most value for the dollar to our clients.

One example of this is the custom search engine we have built for Elias Woodwork in Winkler. They needed a system that would search their database of part numbers and keywords on their website and PDF catalogue and provide visitors with fast results to get them the information they are looking for.

Working together with Elias Woodwork, we put together a database and search tool, which we then added to their website. The benefit of this system is that it narrows search results down to provide the most relevant search results based on information contained in the website and documents. For example, when someone searches for “molding” on their website, rather than having every instance of that word come up in the results, we have compiled a list of occurances which provide the most relevant results for the visitor. Soul’d Youth Event

Soul’d is a youth event featuring speaker Mike Guzzardo, Thousand Foot Krutch and local artist, Jordan Janzen.

We created and printed the poster for the event, as well as provided a website free of charge to promote the event. The website can be viewed at www.sould.ca.

Regional Connections is a combined effort between South Central Settlement & Employment Services (SCSES) and Pembina Valley Language/Education for Adults (PVLEA). They recently opened a new office together and rebranded the organization. The two organizations wanted cards that featured their new branding, but maintaining separate designs. Below is what we came up with.

This graphic was designed for use on a wedding invitation. We used the color and flower that the couple chose for their wedding. This is the graphic we came up with, which is meant to resemble Calla Lilies, a common flower used at weddings.

Grandeur Housing is a manufacturer of high quality Modular, RTM and Manufactured homes. This brochure was prepared specifically to highlight the display home they have on their property. The goal here was to create something that would match the home’s comfort and elegance at the same time as presenting the viewer with valuable information about the home’s specifications.

This was a particularly fun project - designing t-shirts for Winkler Bible Camp, with the theme “Dare to be Different”. They wanted to play off the Pixar short-film animation “For the Birds“, so we created custom graphics that resembled that image without copying it exactly. We created graphics for 3 different colors of t-shirts - orange, green and black, as well as a seperate graphic for printing on pillows.

This card design features a custom graphic based on the clients request. This is a vector graphic that can be scaled up to any size and still maintain it’s quality, so it can be used for billboards, print ads, and vehicle decals.

Needless to say the desire for all businesses should be to create valuable lifelong partnerships with customers. Your brand is what is drawing in or pushing away your customers, it’s suggesting a certain level of quality associated with your business. Your brand is distinguishing your business apart from other similar businesses. A brand image that has achieved a preferred status among customers creates loyalty and repeat purchases, which is a goal of your business.

A successful brand starts with a strategic plan. There is a saying that “Good strategy with weak execution can produce reasonable results” the saying goes on to say “Poor strategy with good execution produces terrible results.”
